Homemade Peanut Butter is What Dreams are Made Of

Have you ever gotten the peanut butter from Whole Foods that you grind yourself?  My friend cried when they stopped offering it in her local store.  This homemade peanut butter recipe is just as good. Be patient with it, it’s worth it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups roasted peanuts
  • 1 TBSP honey
  • 1-3 tsp peanut oil (optional for creaminess)
  • A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put peanuts, honey, and salt in food processor and then process.
  2. Slowly add peanut oil and continue to process until peanut butter is very smooth. This maybe takes a while. You can stop the machine and scrape down the peanut butter as you go.
  3. Store in airtight container in the fridge for maximum freshness or at room temp if you consume quickly and appreciate peanut butter that is easier to spread!
