This is our childhood! In a nutshell! We still have the original models. The new one can’t play cassette tapes, but the microphone still works!
This is such a classic and will completely take you back in time. We love that it’s simple and doesn’t need any batteries. And it’s still exactly unchanged from back in the day.
We didn’t remember how much work this one is! Once you’ve put the ice in, you have to manually turn it. Upside: It’s a great workout!
The new ones look a little more space-age than the ones from the 80s, but it still makes the same tiny, questionably delicious cakes and cookies. The only bummer is with the redesign, you can’t see what’s cooking. That was half the thrill, wasn’t it?
This was our main form of transportation growing up. Bouncing around on a ball just never gets old.
The toy is the exact same as back in the day – and we say, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! This thing was one of our favorite toys back then, and our kids still love it now.
Who doesn’t love a plush animal you stuff in a ball? Popples talk now! Enough said.
This toy is now completely interactive! The girls loved this.
Seriously, Simon requires some real concentration! Just as good a brain exercise as doing the New York Times Magazine crossword puzzle.
While this stands the test of time, they innovated without changing too much and our kids LOVE IT.
These are also known as anxiety-inducing games. But that’s half the fun, right?! We think people with smaller hands have an advantage…
If your kids don’t have a set… it’s time. We wish you could build other things, though; a person can build only so many log cabins!
