These maternity jeans are not just for pregnant mamas. This hack makes it so easy to transform any pair of jeans into something a little more comfy and roomy. We will warn you, though: once you put them on, you’re never going to want to take them off.
SUPPLIES
- 4” elastic
- needle and thread
- straight pins
- your favorite jeans!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Take fabric scissors and start cutting at the top of the waistband along the side seam and cut out the whole pocket.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Measure and cut elastic double the length of the pocket you just cut out.
- Line up the top of your elastic with the top of your jean. Make sure the elastic sides overlap a bit on the jean.
- Pin it in place with straight pins.
- Starting at the waistband take your needle and thread and sew elastic in place all the way around.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Trim extra elastic on the inside for comfort, and voila!
