Banana Boats Desserts Banana Boats Desserts

Mixing up how you present food to your kids is one of the easiest ways to get them to try new things. These banana boats are such a simple snack to throw together, but they’re packed with nutrition.  A close cousin to Banana Sushi, these are an amazing after school snack or a nice dessert.

INGREDIENTS

  • Banana
  • Peanut butter
  • Chocolate chips
  • Granola

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel banana and split it longways (make sure not to cut too deep).
  2. Use your finger to split open a little bit more, creating more space for toppings.
  3. Spread peanut butter in banana.
  4. Top with chocolate chips, granola (or any toppings of your choosing) and enjoy!
