KIDS MAKE: Easy RAVIOLI with No-Cook Sauce

Now that you know how to make pasta, Avery shows us how to up your dinner game with these homemade ravioli and a quick, kid-friendly (and no-cook!) pasta sauce.

HOMEMADE RICOTTA

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp sea salt

2 Tbsp white vinegar

Directions

1. Pour milk, cream and salt into saucepot. Heat over medium heat, stirring, until the mixture reaches a strong simmer.

2. Remove from heat and pour in the vinegar. Stir two or three times, gently, around the pot and let sit, undisturbed, for 5 minutes.

3. Place three layers of cheesecloth over a strainer over a bowl and gently pour the mixture over the cloth.

4. Allow the mixture to drain for at least one hour. The longer you wait, the firmer your cheese will be!
