These are a great investment and so fun. Tegu is a company based in Honduras that employs local workers and pays them a living wage. So the price of the products goes towards this cause, which we can all agree is a good one.

The mantra is “creative play the natural way” and works with many other environmentally-friendly companies to fulfill their orders. This smells so much better than regular playdough.
These are made from recycled milk jugs. They’re super durable, easy to clean, and dishwasher safe!

All kids love cutting wooden fruit toys. Something about the natural wood and something about the velcro when they cut into it makes them giggle every time! This company has developed key processes to reduce waste in their packaging and cut down on byproducts.
This is a little expensive but it’s made from rubberwood so it’s super durable. Note that it’s a little difficult to put together. The dolls are so cute and their legs turn so they can sit or stand.

Non-toxic crayons made out of beeswax. These are a good alternative since crayons are non-biodegradable, but they’re on the expensive side for a box of crayons. They make great gifts! They’re thick which is great for little hands.
