5 Sick Day Activities

I had other plans for today and then Presley got sick. She’s thankfully feeling much better now but she still couldn’t go to school so I figure it’s a good day to share our five favorite sick day activities…besides watching movies.

Homemade Activity Tray

I grabbed a cookie sheet and taped envelopes and cards to it and ta-da! This is just a little something extra more than your normal coloring activity. Presley thought this was so neat.

Toy Hospital

Build a hospital for your toys. Create beds using shoeboxes and lots of wash clothes! What I love about this one is I got it started and then Presley kept playing with it! So easy!

Fort

You can never go wrong with a fort! Of course, I always wonder how to keep Ford and Presley separated. If you have any tips please let me know!

Make Something in the Kitchen

Presley is at the age where she loves the kitchen. In the past, we’ve made homemade popsicles for sore throats. Today we’re more into toast and something my Italian mother made me called pastina which we swear by for when you have stomach issues.

Shower & Bath Activities

For congested kids, shower and bath activities are awesome to keep them in the steam as long as possible. This is the one time I’d give my kids shaving cream and let them go crazy in the shower.

Sending happy and healthy thoughts your way, enjoy!
