Indoor Obstacle Course

Ialways thought setting up an obstacle course would be too much work, but this one was super to set up with stuff we had, the kids loved it, and most importantly, they burned a TON of energy.  Feel free to copy or adapt…

QUICK RECAP

I had so much fun making the course! I set it up so the kids had to crawl through a tunnel, pretend the floor was hot lava, jump from rubber circle to another, and climb over bean bags. They jumped from a trampoline onto a pile of sofa cushions and navigated a baby stroller through orange cones. Next, they fought their way through hanging balloons and tossed a ball into a bucket. Then, they picked up a tray with stacked blocks and walked a “tight-rope.” Finally, they had to shimmy across the floor with frisbees and crawl back through the tunnel the other way. They felt so accomplished when they finished and it was super fun to see the older kids try and beat their time!
