Avocado Toast 3 Ways, It’s Not Just for Millenials

Maybe it’s just Los Angeles, but it seems like Avocado Toast is everywhere.  And for good reason.  It’s an easy, nutritious breakfast and you can make so many varieties that it never gets old.

Scrambled Egg Avocado Toast
INGREDIENTS

  • Rustic bread
  • Avocado
  • Scrambled eggs
  • salt (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut avocado in half, and smash in a bowl.
  2. Toast rustic piece of bread.
  3. Spread avocado on toast.
  4. Add a little scrambled egg. Top with salt.

“Fancy” Avocado Toast
INGREDIENTS

  • Seeded bread
  • Avocado
  • Radish
  • Microgreens
  • Smoked salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spread avocado on toast.
  2. Sprinkle salt onto avocado.
  3. Place sliced radishes on top of avocado.
  4. Add microgreens.

California Avocado Toast
INGREDIENTS

  • Olive bread
  • Avocado
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced cucumber
  • Ricotta cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Layer bread with ricotta cheese.
  2. Add some avocado.
  3. Add sprinkle of salt and sliced cucumbers and tomatoes.
