I really went for it with a DIY water wall. When I purchased clear tubing and funnels from the hardware store, the salesmen asked me if I was having a party. I told him “Yeah, I’m having a party. ‘Ever hear of a water wall partay?!”
Yep, I’m a mom.
Supplies:
- Funnels
- Clear Vinyl Tubing
- Pegboard You can also use a fence, or even an old crib (!), but we opted for a pretty cheap 2×4 piece of pegword
- Zip Ties
Obviously, you’ll want to start at the top, and TEST everything before securing the zip ties. In addition to the clear tubing, pool noddles (cut in half) and plastic jugs work awesome. Let your kids use their imagination and engineering skills. It’s fun to have a success metric at the bottom (like a pinwheel) and a bin to collect the water so you easily scoop it up for less waste.
