When I first made this acai bowl, I knew it tasted great. My kids even told me so (with actual words). But then someone sent me a picture from a smoothie shop in Australia of the very picture you see on the website, the picture I took. Guess they thought it looks good too!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 packet frozen acai
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen fruit (berries, mango, etc)
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 1 TBSP flax seed meal
- 1 sliced banana
- ½ cup granola
- Sprinkle of coconut flakes
DIRECTIONS
- Blend acai, frozen banana, frozen fruit, almond milk and flax seed in high – powered blender. Stir occasionally. Your mixture should be very thick.
- Pour into bowl and top with banana, granola and coconut. Or try any favorite topping.
