Trail Mix 3 Ways, Because 1 Isn’t Enough

If your kids ask for snacks as often as mine do, you will love these three trail mixes.  They’ll provide your little ones (and you!) with just enough energy without the sugar high of all the processed snacks.

Monkey Trail Mix

  • Cheerios
  • Banana chips
  • Peanuts
  • Chocolate chips


  1. Scoop each ingredient into a container, then shake to mix it up.

Fancy Pants Trail Mix

  • Pretzels
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Pistachios
  • Dried cherries
  • Chocolate chunks


  1. Fill half of a container with pretzels.
  2. Add pumpkin seeds, pistachios, dried cherries, and chocolate chunks. Mix!

Afternoon Snack Attack

  • Granola
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Dried cranberries
  • Yogurt raisins


  1. Fill jar less than halfway full with granola, then mix in rest of ingredients.
