Anyone else have a cupboard, or closet shelf full of random glass containers? If so, it’s time to give them a little makeover and put them to use. We’ll show you how to make mercury glass. The possibilities are endless with this easy trick to transform them into a gorgeous piece of room decor!
SUPPLIES
- Gold Spray Paint
- Looking Glass
- Water/Spray Bottle – one that sprays in a mist
- Glass Container
INSTRUCTIONS
- Use the gold spray paint to cover the inside. Spray it in short bursts until you have a patchy look.
- Use the water bottle to give the outside of the container a light coat.
- Finally, use the looking glass spray paint and give the container a light coat. Blot it with a paper towel if you want it to look even more distressed. You can also go back and use sandpaper once it’s dry.
