5 Apple Cider Vinegar Hacks For Your Skin

You might not love the smell, but trust us- you’ll love all the ways apple cider vinegar can benefit your skincare routine! From breakouts to bug bites, here are our top 5 favorite ways to use it:

1. DIY Toner
Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar with water, and after you wash your face and before you moisturize, apply with a cotton ball.  This helps to kill bacteria, lightly exfoliate, and also helps balance your skin’s pH levels.

2. Foot Deodorizer
Mix about a cup of apple cider vinegar to a bowl of water (big enough to soak feet in). Let feet soak in mixture for about 10-20 minutes. The vinegar is antiseptic and anti-fungal, which will help rid of odors. 

3. Face Mask
Mixing 2 tablespoons of raw honey with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and apply to your face. Leave it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water, followed by cold water. The vinegar will going to sooth any damaged skin and the honey works to heal and moisturize it.

4. Bug Bite Itch Relief 
Use the same toner mixture (equal parts ACV & water) and apply to irritated area using a cotton ball. 

5. Makeup Brush Cleaner
Mix 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar into 1 cup of water, and let your brushes soak in the mixture for about 5-10 minutes.  Rinse your brushes out with water, and let dry. The antibacterial properties of the vinegar will help sanitize your brushes.
